Sangha Care Program

Bright Way Zen is pleased to have a Sangha Care Program to help out our cloud and dirt sangha members during difficult times. We have a roster of volunteers that have expressed interest in providing:

o   Transportation: To the Zendo and/or medical appointments

o   Home visits: Quality time OR help with chores

o   Meal trains

o   Plant or Pet Care

o   Care Packages

o   Email and Phone Calls

If you feel like you would benefit from some care, please click here to send an email. Please provide as many details as possible (date, time, location, duration, etc.) so we can connect you with a volunteer. We will keep your identity private until it is time to connect you with another member. If you don’t mind us sharing your name feel free to let us know! Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that a volunteer will be available so if it is time sensitive, please let us know as soon as you can.

If you would like to volunteer help, please email us and let us know what you would be available for. You will not be required to answer a request unless it works for your time and schedule.

Sangha Care is here to help organize, but we are a committed community.  In terms of signing cards, getting the word out, and having a roster of helpers, we are here for you! But not everything needs to go through sangha care.  We empower sangha members to enact bodhisattva activity and offer help when it is appropriate.
