Like the tree of awakening, our Bright Way Zen Sangha continues to spread its roots while branching outward to the clouds, sharing the dharma around the world.
Through the seasonal cycles of fourteen years, our Sangha tree has provided the fresh air of a welcoming community, shelter during difficult times, the fruits of our ancestors’ teachings, and sustainability to nourish our practice for years to come.
In 2025, the fruit of our strategic planning was active committee work:
- Visibility Committee – reaching those seeking meditation and contemplative programs
- Sangha Committee – ensuring our offerings are accessible and meaningful to all
- Home Committee – ensuring our Sangha will thrive far into the future
- Peace and Justice Committee – manifesting our bodhisattva vows beyond our Zen center
- An increase to Domyo’s salary towards a living wage and financial security
The 2025 fundraiser goal is to raise $20,000 between Monday, November 10, and Tuesday, November 25.
Please help ensure that no matter where you are in the world, the roots and branches of our Bright Way Zen Sangha tree will remain a steadfast refuge for you in Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.

- Choose Edit Recurring Donation from the dropdown menu and follow the steps. Click Set up recurring donation to start a recurring pledge.
